The accommodation is situated in the picturesque town of Klein Baai, on the rugged and unspoilt Western Cape peninsula. The area is renowned for its marine life and excursions to view the magnificent great white sharks and whales in the Indian Ocean. Situated a short drive from Cape Town and many other towns such as Hermanus and Gaans Baai.
The house can sleep up to 8 people and is fully furnished and equipped for a comfortable self-catering holiday including an outside barbecue area.
- Shark diving is all year round and trips depart from the small harbour in kleinbaai daily.
- Whale watching boats also depart from the harbour in kleinbaai and run from March to May.
- The rugged coastline and overhanging cliffs at nearby De Kelders are natural lookout points to view the whales from the shoreline.
- The nearest golf course is local, about 5-10mins away.
- 'Pearly beach' is a lovely sandy beach located only 10 mins drive from the house.
- There is a game park which is about 90 mins away.
- Great White House restaurant is the local place to eat in Kleinbaai. More restaurants, and shops can be found in nearby Gaansbaai.
- There are 2 tourist offices in Gaansbaai, one located on the main street and another by the harbour.
- Cape Agulhas is about 30-45mins away and is the southern most point in Africa!
- Hermanus is only 15 mins away.
